Is this a bleaching product?

No. There is no bleach and no hydroquinone. Kojic Acid, Arbutin and Glutathione work on tone gradually.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes, it is Grade 1 TFM and face safe. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.

How is this different from the Detan Body Wash?

Contact time. The wash rinses off in seconds, while a bar can sit on a dark patch for a full minute, which is what shifts stubborn spots on knees and elbows.

Do I need sunscreen with it?

Yes, sunscreen is always recommended whenever possible to preserve progress.
